What do you recommend for water trough additive ?
@joshandhuntersadventures5046 Жыл бұрын
I would just add water if you can. Always helps to have a water source close by with minerals

Hey just checking out your video… you have a beautiful mixture of salts. If ever you wanted to test out something..try grape or fruit punch Kool-Aid , the scent attracts the deers to your plot…guaranteed

Makes since never thought of that. I bet it brings the bears in to. I try to keep them away lol. That is difficult sometimes. Thanks for watching.

We also throw rotting logs in the hole and pour the minerals all over the logs...the deer eat the wood and continue digging the hole when the wood is gone. Works great.

Interesting. I never knew people did this. I thought they just threw deer corn in the areas they wanted the deer. Nice having to kids to do stuff for you. 😂 Look forward to seeing the deer cam footage of them going at the pile. 👍

Just curious why do you add the stock salt ? The trace mineral is like 95 % salt already .

great video, i always like to start my rock sites around this time of year as well. the last few years the fishing has been so good i always put off the hunting an extra week here or extra week there, next thing i know im 14 days out from opening day. Not sure what the rules are for your area, but i like to add a bit of rolled oat to mine, have them sprout so they eat the grass that grows and get the mineral at the same time.
@joshandhuntersadventures50463 жыл бұрын
Pretty good idea on the oats and I know what you mean about putting it off with the fishing I do the same thing fishing has been really good this year and I feel you there thanks for stopping by and watching
