Hi Everyone, The how to video that many of you requested a
"How- to" on. The finished desktop box measures 11" from side to side and 6.25" from front to back. For those of you who make it, I would love to see a picture of your finished project. I will post another video when I receive the 12 x 12 "Off to the races" by Graphic 45, so you can see the finished project. The Chipboard I used for the construction of this box is by Graffix and was purchased at Amazon. The color is natural and the product # is K57CB811-25. This cuts easily and does not fray or chip around the edges when cut. Please send me your thoughts on this item, I really enjoy hearing from everyone! Have a GREAT day, Bobbie

Hello Bobbie, I also purchased this chipboard from Amazon and was very glad of quality. Thank you for filming this process and I hope to be ready for the final touches when you post the paper covering process. This will be my first project and I will post a photo when I am finished. Thank you again for sharing your love of paper.

I really like this chipboard, it cuts easily and makes nice foundations for projects. I look forward to seeing your finish project. I should be making the embellishing tutorial in a couple of days, I just got my G45 paper I was waiting on. Bobbie

I love this project. I'm going to give this a shot. I really like that glue and use it all the time. Sometimes you have to unscrew the cap and take it off and wash it under the faucet and clean out the gunk that builds up.

Yep, I have to stay on top of it or it plugs up. Recently the ball on the top of the straight pen broke off. I found a package of quilting pins that work well until I can get the stainless ones (they don't rust) the quilting pins will eventually rust if you don't change them frequently. Bobbie

Hello, I just enjoy your videos - this one is really good also. Reference the art glitter glue you are using. It is fantastic glue. Reference the clogging of the glue. You can get from ""Scraperfect" a "No-clog Writing Cap". They come in three sizes, small, medium and large. You will need the large for the art glitter bottle. If you look on their website you will see how it stops the glue from glogging up. I am sure you will love this little ingenious product. I have it on my bottle all the time. Let me know how you get on.

Thanks very much Bobbie - I have some chipboards but not quite like what you have... I will try working with what I have and will give it try. Will get my dp to coordinate with my project first and hopefully get it done soon and definitely will share with the outcome of it. LOL~

I Elisabeth, This was over a year ago, not sure what I used at the time but my current prefrence is Art Glitter Glue which dries clear and quickly. I use the fiskars pro and the Creative Memories paper cutters. Hope this helps, thanks for the comment, I too prefer a video where they explain what they are doing !

Okay, I been doing some searching. Try Cheryl Seslar Designs , there are some cute ones under baby clip art. Also, try Alice Smith Clip Art, then click on artist Cuddle Creek Graphics, there are alot of cute baby graphics there. I may get some from Cuddle Creek for my next baby album. Hope this helps! Let me see if I have the measurements correct. Front 3-1/2 x 11 Back 5-3/8 x 11 Bottom 6-1/4 x 11 Center Divider. 10 x 7 x 4-3/8 Strips are 1” score @ 1/2” Didn’t get the dimensions where the splits go. Did I get them correct? TYFS. God Bless

The only thing you left out were the 2 side pieces cut from a 6 x 6 piece and angled to match the height of the front and back pieces. All the measurements should be given in the tutorial, let me know if you have any more questions - no problem

Sorry I don"t get it. The back is 51/2 deep and the bottom is 61/4 deep, how does the 6x6 sides fit.? Mine don"t. Also you didn"t say how to cut the side pieces, I am just a beginner, so would appreciate your help.

The back is 5 1/2" tall (high) , the bottom is 61/4 from front to back the sides are 5 1/2" tall at the highest point on the back corner , 3 3/4" on the front corner and are cut at an angle from the back to the front - they are 6" from front to back. I hope this helps you, Bobbie

I put the side up to the back and front, I marked the top to match the back and the front then drew a line and cut. - Good luck, it should work out fine, let me know how it goes. Bobbie

If your side is cut the same height as the back, you will only have to mark the front edge to match the height of the front panel, then draw a line from the back corner to the mark you made on the front. then cut on your line. Hope that makes it clear.

I an sure it is Graphic 45, but not real sure which paper collection. It has been quite awhile since I did that one, I think it might be Proper Gentleman. There are so many pretty papers on the market right now, you could make it with anything that matches your decor. HUGS :) Bobbie

Oh my gosh, I am sorry, I thought I had answered you, I didn't mean to miss one,I try to answer all questions as quickly as possible. Anyway, I mainly use Art Glitter Glue, except for the covers. The art glitter glue dries to fast to get a smooth cover so I prefer score tape for that. I wish you all the luck possible and would love to see a photo of your finished project. Bobbie
