Add a strap with a knob on one end and a hole in the other that bolts down on the one bolt so when you tighten down it adds pressure to the other side of the lid. Good job.

Thanks! It was a temporary fix, but it worked pretty good. Just swapped it out for the modified Isuzu trooper air cleaner I got at the junk yard last week! Now it’ll go on my 87 dodge Raider until I can find and modify another trooper air cleaner.
