I LOVE your cake topper! I just found out today through my Amazon orders that my hubs bought me a Cameo 4 (he's not very sneaky😂) and I can't wait for it to come in! I think this might be the first project I try with it because I love it so much. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for sharing . Do i really need another kind of blade to cut that cardstock? Or just use the autoblade?
@AimsysAntics2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for commenting! No, you can use the autoblade. I used the other one because my autoblade had problems and they were easier to repurchase at the time. Hope that helps! Xoxo

I am using the same material but my cameo says that it cannot read the registration marks, however, my printer can't print on this type of material. what should I do?
@AimsysAntics2 жыл бұрын
I am not an expert with the software but have found that you have to check the registration settings to make sure they are within the boundary. Also shine a torch or make sure the machine is in good lighting so it can read the marks. Hope that helps! Xoxo

You totally changed the font from the beginning to the end and didn't say anything! 🤣🤣🤣 It turned out beautiful. The 2nd font is much better!
@AimsysAntics2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I did! I made one for a friend and forgot to film the end of it, so made another one with different font 🙈😂I think the second font is much better too, although is more flimsy than a thicker set font. Glad you liked it, and sorry for the confusion! xoxo

my point editing in silhouette studio was disabled why this happen? I just bought my cameo 4 pro last week .I do really need an assistance. can you help me?
@AimsysAntics2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure why it would be disabled. Could it be in the settings? Any issues I have I head to this blog, they have really useful tips and guides - www.silhouette101.com/archives/point-editing-basic-edition-and-higher Sorry I couldn't be more help (I'm still learning all the things silhouette studio related), hope you can get it sorted xoxo

Hello great video. I’m actually on my silhouette studio doing this while watching your video and I’m stuck… my point editing won’t work 🥺 I’ve been trying and trying and the dots don’t appear. I have the basic program that came with my silhouette. Do I need to upgrade to use point editing?
@AimsysAntics3 жыл бұрын
You should have point editing with the basic edition. I only have this version, so it should work for you too. Have you tried clicking and looking on the side panel for the point editing? Sometimes double-clicking the image opens it up, as well as highlighting by dragging your mouse up whilst holding down the left mouse button. It might be worth selecting the image and right-clicking 'release compound path' to see if that brings up the option. It's worth checking out the weld option as well as another comment has pointed out, this will reduce needing to delete everything. Hope that helps and you are able to get it working to create your cake topper! Xoxo

Can’t I use autoblade because I don’t have rachet blade if I’m using autoblade what number should I go with this card stock
@AimsysAntics3 жыл бұрын
Yeah you can absolutley use the autoblade. I had trouble with mine, so used the rachet blade instead and saved my autobalde for vinyl. It is all personal preference. The blade setting will depend on your cardstock and how thick this is. It is a bit of trial and error, so I would advise testing out the settings on scrap pieces of the card you want to use and write down which settings worked best. I have since found cutting from the back (so the back facing up rather than to the mat) and slowing the speed down gives a cleaner cut, especially for the more intricate parts of a design. Hope this helps and thanks for watching! xoxo

Are you using the auto blade? Sometimes it doesn't change the settings when going to cut, so you have to watch it it changes it to the correct depth. Also what setting are you selecting in the 'send' tab? I often use the cardstock - texture heavy or even the glitter cardstock for the thicker card. Sometimes the pre-set settings just don't do what you want them to do, so it is a good idea to play about with the force amount and the speed to see if that helps. Also check the blade hasn't got debris in it, because that can stop it from cutting too. I would also suggest checking your mat, and making sure the card is adhered to this, if it is loose it won't cut properly. Check if there is NY debris on the mat as well because that can impact. Finally check the design that you are cutting and whether you have the correct cut lines for what you want it to. Hope that help, just some of the things I have found when playing about with the software. It does take a lot of trial and error to find out which works best for the materials you are using. xoxo

Hii, thank you for sharing! It so nice... but i hv a question, what kind of paper? Cardstock paper? Let me know bcause i want to make it at home ...thank you ❤️❤️❤️
@AimsysAntics3 жыл бұрын
Hello, Glad you like it. I use cardstock, it is best to use as thick as you can for more durability about 320gsm. Hope that helps! xoxo

Hello how do you call that gold color for cake toppers? Is that an acrylic?
@AimsysAntics3 жыл бұрын
Hello, this is just standard gold card stock. Acrylic ones look so nice, but unfortunatley the Silhouette cameo 4 doesn't cut this material, and you need a special laser type cutter for it. Thanks for watching :) xoxo

Hi.. im new here. how to install the wording from albetho to silhouette ?
@AimsysAntics3 жыл бұрын
Helllo and welcome! You first go to Font Bundles, search for it under the Free Fonts tab and then download it. Then, open the file that downloaded and click either the .otf or.ttf file to launch the installer. Click the install button and this should install it onto your computer. If you already have the studio open, close it and reopen, or just open if not already. You should then be able to find it in your font list. Hope this helps! xoxo

Good spot! Yes, they are 2 different ones but the same process in making. The thicker one was for my friend and I didn't manage to complete the video with that one so made another that turned out slightly slimmer! Also, slightly different fonts which can be found on font bundles Xoxo
