Hey I just wanted to ask if it's possible to make mods that simply change textures of the towers' 3d models/upgrade icons Most of the mods published add completly new stuff, and there doesn't seem to be anything on the mod helper wiki on modifying pre-existing textures/models.

No, it should still be showing up. Make sure you installed it correctly.

I need to model in 2d elfs because I want to make a custom elf camp from Roblox tower defense simulator but they go on the track but bloons can’t do that so I will make then get placed for a couple and seconds and they disappear

You probably need to get nightly melonloader. In the btd6 modding community in the help requests channel search 'failed to find original dll' and a guy from the staff team sent a link download that that's what fixed it for me
