How to make your own Project Life kits from your stash

I took your advice and put together a few of my own "kits" from my stash and I am in LOVE! This is how I did it and I can't wait to start using them!

Oh my gosh! I'm literally making DIY kits right now...how awesome! Myself and a few Scrappy friends are planning to do an auction with them for hurricane Harvey relief. I have some friends in ministry who's entire congregation was effected. Your kits are so beautiful!!!

That was really inspiring to watch. I mainly do 12x12 layouts but do like to make my own kits. I always follow the same formula for putting them together, but after watching you start with a different inspiration piece, I am going try that too.

This was so fun to watch! I like that you started each kit with a different type of supply. I make kits all the time for layouts but I've never made one for Project Life. You've definitely gotten me interested in giving it a try!

So glad you shared this dee. I was trying to do some too and I struggled to find any videos specific to project life. The odd one I did find and most of the scrapbooking ones made it look complicated. Yours was like your style - streamlined and coordinated lol

Nice little kits! Don't do PL anymore but these could be starter kits to add to 12x12 pp later. But really love how tidy these are in those see through pouches. May have to find something like that as one of my cats eats ziploc type baggies. Could make small thematic kits for crops also for scrapping a random selection of events.

You could easily adapt the same sort of thing for 12x12 or TN or any project your could think of! These are all left-over kit bags from SC but I'm sure you could find something similar online. Maybe fabric bags might work better if your cat enjoys the taste of plastic!

Love all four kits and how each one of them started with a different spark. Are you actually getting to use them? I'm always so excited to create these stash kits for myself only to realize I don't have time to use them if I want to keep using those kits that come into my house every month. Sigh. It's a struggle. 😬😂

Yep, totally using them! Posted a video today using my first one! It can be a struggle to keep up with all the paper goodness that comes into this house too. You should see the huge box of Studio Calico sale stuff that arrived today. I'm not sure I'll ever use it!

I probably only break apart kits once or maybe twice a year, otherwise they just stay in a drawer all together. These are kit left-overs or other bits I've collected over the years.

They fit 6x8 papers in them but if you’re ordering some, just get a size that suits the supplies you use the most 😉

+Jarka Ef 😂 you do! You could always use alpha stamps too. I still use other things outside of the kits, so you wouldn't need to include alphas in all of them.
