How to make your own stencils

With my passion for Mixed Media Art, it is safe to say that stencils are an essential part of my toolkit.
I love making my own stencils. It means I can create a stencil for exactly what I need - and it is so much cheaper and more fun than buying them! They also become unique which adds that extra soul to your work.
In this video, I will share my tips on where to find inspiration for your stencil patterns and guide you through how you can create incredible stencils from items you can find around the home.

Absolutely amazing ideas! Easy and cheap! I had never thought of that. Stencils are sometimes very expensive, at least here in Portugal, so I am definitely going to make my own stencils, totally personalized ♥️💜🧡💙🖤❤️💚💛

I love the coloring book idea, that is a great idea. I have also used the plastic cutting sheet, it is a disposable cutting board, from Dollar Tree. You get 2 for 1.25$. They are big. I also use the many different ends on my wood burner, to cut it out, this makes it so easy. When I saw the dinner lid I thought great idea. Made me think what about the side of a gallon of milk.
