WHAT A GREAT TUTORIAL! Thank you...Clear glue is cheap and I have tons of glitters...and I love anything that is glittery, or shimmery...thanks again. Thumbs UP! OH, and here in the US we use the same adage.."Less is MORE!" :)

Its certainly cheaper to make your own and you get more for your money! It actually looks BETTER then the bought ones that don't last and cost the earth :)

Just found this today Fi. I tell you, sometimes the right things fall in your lap, just at the right time. I was thinking of getting stickles...but who needs that. Cheaper and much more sparkles...I'm going to try this out. Thanks as always. Great tip. 😉x

Okay Fiona! Now my brain is full of ideas on different materials to use in the clear glue. When I started with scrapbooking 13 years ago I bought my first Stickles. It did the job, but not really what I imagined when I bought it. But then it never occurred to me that I could make my own. I kept buying it too. What a waste of money! You are great at looking at things from the perspective of how to make it...I appreciate your many talents! I have so many videos to watch so I can catch up to you! Which I never will, but will have fun trying! 😉

@shanjamorjor Fine glitters do work but the holographic is far brighter then ANY other glitter on the market. It's already multi coloured which is why it shines brighter then coloured glitter!!!
@JenningsCraftsBoutique14 жыл бұрын
@stephanoid69 Remember, unless you have the thicker clear glue to mix with the glitter that it would be runnier then the original stickles. I paint mine on and it does the same job! :)

@cheri7495 Sorry my reply is late I didn't know about this question :( Its fine fine glitter and can be added to clear glue to make stickles xx
@JenningsCraftsBoutique14 жыл бұрын
@shanjamorjor You can find the same stuff I use on line and it goes a long way. You don't need much of the Holographic glitter because its fine and far more shimmery then ordinary glitter. Mines called 'Diamond Sparkles, Fairy Daydreams and I've seen it online before when I was looking for a top up jar!!!

I love this. I love the shine but using just plain glitter for it sometimes looks more as if my children did it. Lol just a bit much and this is perfect for what I'm looking to do. QUESTION; what would be the difference with clear and white glues? White glue dries clear but does it make it dull or streaky? Not sure what the difference would be. Thx for sharing ;)

just tought of adding mica powder(for colors) or cheap eyeshadow (breaking a little out to use for color instead of mica powder cheaper) and or acrylic paint for color?? THANK you so much for your idea kind of trying to build on what you already started..

What brand of clear glue are you using? The clear glue I get is quite expensive and thicker than yours. It probably would be no savings to make my own unless I get a cheaper glue.

do you suggest any certain brand of liquid, clear glue that can be found in the US? If I've seen it - I didn't take real notice of it.. (liquid glue like that I mean - other than Elmer's, but.... I think it dries white - unless I'm wrong to the max. Been a LONG time since I've used Elmer's lol. I agree that you Have a great mind --- such great ideas... wow TFS
