I also do signs also …..I started 20 some odd years ago just installing signs for a sign company to barter on his lettering my van that morphed into doing all his lighted signs and lighted channel letters etc from there other sign guys wanted me to install for them so I ended up installing for 5 different sign companies…..I got interested in the process and bought a cheap Chinese cutter then bought a DGI om60 cutter then the Graphtec CE 6000 and the Stahals heat press etc so anyways now I have a full fledged sign shop also ……..I manufacture back lighted sign boxes and faces plus flat signs, banners and vehicle lettering etc

I don’t have a channel except for some post my grandson did on mine. It’s fairly easy making the boxes I only use led anymore it’s so much better then fluorescent or neon . I started just from watching and got interested in the trade. That’s how I always did ….if I found it interesting I learned how to do it.

Flexisign 10. Older disk and dongle to run my cutters. Coreldraw 6 I bought on ebay.

I use FlexiSign 10 to run my machine. I got the software with dongle with my first vinyl cutter. If you are in the market for a “real” vinyl cutter, I definitely recommend Graphtec. It comes with a version of flexi. Definitely recommended. If you can’t afford a full sized vinyl cutter, get a Cricut, or Silhouette Cameo. Checkout Sign Warehouse, and Hall Signs for blanks. I also use Harbor Sales. They are on the East Coast. Maybe US Cutter for some things. Good Luck!

I found the hall signs today and I had a cricut but it’s crashed so was looking at the cameo 4 pro cuts 24” I need that kind of cutter so I can still print and cut stickers that I make also. I’ve looked at the large vinyl cutters but I figured I’d get one that could do both so I’m going from 12” cutting to 24” cutting! I’m just looking to make custom street signs like for peoples farms or driveways, Thank you for your info!!
