How to make your pfsense a NGFW??

Sir I m new to PfSense I searched a lot but couldnt realized a way. How can I block for example social media websites in a network?

You can use pfsense and/or combine with an external DNS server. On pfsense install pfblockerng package, then choose the DNSBL category you'd like to block. Another option is to use quad9 or cloudfare dns services.

So do you recomend changing the DNS server in DHCP OR leaving it to default to the pfsense and chaning its overall DNS settings in General Setup? Thankyou for the video. Chaninging DNS is the step that is missed by most of the viseos outhere i have seen about PFBlockerNG.

You're right. I might have missed this step. The IP 10.10.10.1 has to be added on DHCP configuration. Thanks
