Great video, I wish more people knew about ir battles. One consideration to you remember is IR battles must be indoors or at night, as ambient light greatly reduces the sensitivity of IR.

we can play in the outdoors, the important thing is the IR receiver must be high quality type like Tamiya or Piranha which has IR filters

Hi Stanlley. Check with you. My blinker light does not light up with bradley 1/16. Does it need to pair first?

Greetings Stanley, my name is Glenn and I just unboxed my first RC Tank as an adult. I have a Heng Long M1A2 Pro edition tank with metal tanks and gears. My tracks have come off ther left side of ther vehicle anf I don't know how to get them back in the track. Do you mind giving me some pointers? Or, do you have a video for that problem?

Just remove the sprockets using a 3mm Hex Allen key, put the tracks back on and get sprockets on too. If it's too tight, press the hull down so that the wheels let the tracks on. You might want to remove the upper Hull if this is bit too tight for you. good luck!

@@shakenbake4585 under the tank, in pairs, there are screw holes. Use #1 Philips to get to it, but use at least 4-6in long screwdrivers

Hi, i currently hv a mato Tiger BB version. I recently bought a IR turret with all electronics build in. Problem is, i could not get it to fire and to barrel up down correctly. All connection are right on the TK22 board but it seemd that the board still remember the tank as a BB version. Am i missing something?

Stanlley Legion servo for elevation and recoil... do i need to reprogramme my TK22 to 'HL Recoil' mode? Becz now it seems to think that the turret is still a BB turret... i saw your website hv the SONY remote programmer, do i need a receiver for the Sony TV control to reprogramme the TK board?

Stanlley Legion cannon did not recoil, barrel servo move when power up but when i move barrel up and release the TX stick, the barrel move back down. Unable to fire main gun, The TK board i used came with the BB version of tiger, now i switch to IR turret can i just plug n play or do i need to reprogramme?

I can but we don't, as we usually put the barrel flash there

It depends on where you play. For Malaysia and Singapore, our rules states that the barrel flash is necessary

Hi Stanlley, I have a henglong ZTZ99 which I want to make IR battle ready, but I think it has an old-generation control board. Do you know if the old control boards are IR compatible? If not, is there a better control board you would recommend for the ZTZ99? Thanks in advance!

hi Mark! how old is it? it should be IR battle capable, albeit only in HL code. means you can only play with other HL tanks.

Stanlley Legion another question can you put a tamiya ir System In a heng long tank? With the recoil of the barrel and 360 turret rotation

@@Th3Gr3atChorizo hi bit complicated, let me try 1) Tamiya IR system will work on any tank, but the wiring and plug is slightly different. NOTE that HL MFU will not give Hit indication. 2) recoil only works with servos and only on HL v6.1 3) 360 turret no problem, if you run a slip ring, you need at least 12-18 wires. if not, you can, just REMEMBER to turn the turret back where you came from, so you don't twist the wires until a twisted mess.
