Really, good kick sound + tutorial. One note though. on 2:59, the side filter is for cutting out stereo information from the sub bass, making it sit better when the mix is played through mono speakers, or to make the sub sound more centered. In this example the side filter didn't actually do anything since the sound was completely mono to start with, and was placed before the reverb, but after any reverb or stereo effects it's definitely a good trick to try.

ok but is it possible to use extremely loud kicks like this one in a song project without exporting them? (So you can do more funi automations)

Well, you can save the preset of the mixer you used of the zaag kick for more projects without needing to export them

@@elvis8rgg umm the problem is they are VERY LOUD, covering/distorting any other sound, and lowering the mixer track volume is not an option as it only changes how the kick sounds, and at the lowest volume, its muted ofc.

@Azapruu well in that case, you can turn down the master volume of serum, and/or both oscillators

@@Azapruu nah bruh you gotta put a waveshaper to the LAST PLACE OF YOUR CHAIN. Then you can lower the volume of the cannel without the volume chaning.

@@emptyspace123make the kick, record it as a sample in Edison its that easy and then its not loading as a sample pack if thats what you mean. Then from there 😁 if its a sample it shouldn't have a higher rate of clipping
