This was uploaded four years ago, and it's such a simple explanation. My makeup always looks dry/flaky or it starts to separate. Now that I'm older, makeup doesn't look the same as it used to on my skin. I started using primers and trying out different types of dewy/matte foundations. I was able to get away with just moisturizer and a BB cream. But it was discontinued. So i started adding setting spray to layer my foundation and concealer. It worked for some time. But over time my skin changed and the makeup just keeps separating. Curious what your recommendations are or if you have a video that addresses any of these issies. 😅

Hi there! The trick is to focus on making your base as seamless and hydrated as possible to avoid the makeup from separating or 'tearing'. You can use hydrating serums, moisturisers and primers to ensure that works and also use a BB cream or foundation suitable for dry skin, one that is hydrating. The best trick that I have learned is , I have a very oily and pigmented skin to I used to avoid moisturizer and my make up use to be very patchy but after she emphasing on the imp of mosturizer it just changed my makeup game and using the perfect shade of foundation not light not dark and even for me brushes work better than puffs
