@Jarodnoise6 жыл бұрын
I already know. There is no harmonics for strings, just for violin, and it sounds different.
@erskinejcurrie6 жыл бұрын
Yes, there is a slight difference. The symphony series has a greater sounding feel that would bring out your music more. Essentials are that just that, essential. It is a scaled down version of symphony series.

Right. Its just "movie score" style
@mikeexits5 жыл бұрын
He said in the video that neo-classical is about changing up the conventions of classical music, which he did at least by having the viola play the melody a violin normally would. Beyond that I'm not sure, I never even heard of neo-classical before this video.
@aiden_macleod5 жыл бұрын
@@mikeexits According to Elliott Jones of the Lumen Learning Institute, Neoclassicism in music was a twentieth-century trend, particularly current in the period between the two World Wars, in which composers sought to return to aesthetic precepts associated with the broadly defined concept of “classicism,” namely order, balance, clarity, economy, and emotional restraint. So, if you've never heard of Neoclassical, you must have been living under a rock

the piano became to sound like an harp. maybe it needs an individual equalization to bring back the initial timber.
@niektenbrinke57337 жыл бұрын
I think this should be considered as nothing more than a rough production. It really needs mixing since there is not much clarity in this mix, especially the piano is covered up in the 2nd half of the composition...

What's with the rush? You outline all the parameters that you are selecting on each instrument but barely devote anytime to playing back the tweaked sounds in solo, for the viewer to understand and appreciate them. Can hardly make out the individual sounds when all the tracks are being played together towards the end.
@SoniqSounds7 жыл бұрын
the point is to get through it quickly - most people dont have attention span to watch all of it
@rmp5s6 жыл бұрын
The real point is to show the capabilities of the instruments. This isn't a tutorial, despite saying "How To" in the title. They should probably get rid of that from the title.
