I have started a small business selling handmade soap and crocheted soap savers and maybe some washcloths, ( I’m testing to see if there’s a demand for them). I am doing my first craft fair soon and I am totally thinking that Square would be a great tool for me. My question is if I decide to sell on Facebook could I still use Square for my transactions there?

Good evening, When assigning SKU numbers do you assign one for each item and each color? For instance SKU 001 for Yellow bath mitt and SKU 002 for white bath mitt? Or do you just issue one number for each item?

You can put cash sales through square or write down the cash skus & update later!

Yes, that is a totally ok way to do it! For a while, I tracked my inventory/sales by writing everything down!

You can accept cash and use square to record that sale just like you would a CC sale. Just choose Cash on the checkout screen.
