I usually add liquid paraffin in their water for the 1st 3 days to help digestion and you will not experience that at all.

I lost a bird due to the impaction , luckily I learnt how to clean from one of your videos and it saved my other chicks. Though I learnt that liquid paraffin helps to reduce impaction.

I dip the chicks bum into a pan of nice warm water then massage the dried poop stuck in the feathers alternating dipping and rolling the hard mass between fingertips until it literally falls apart and crumbles away. This takes about two minutes per bird so it is time consuming if there are a lot of them but it saves the feathers and reduces the irritation a cloth may cause. Love to all!

For newbies... know the difference between where is the vent and the belly button. They are close together. If you wipe off the dried umbilical cord while cleaning the vent, the chick will die within 24 hours.

In the other video U were feeding the chicks using a syringe. Today u are wiping their ass. Who does that? Only a doctor or a nurse 😂. Technically, u didn’t quit medicine. You only changed the type of patients. I love your videos

1 I will advice you to look quickly for more information about this at the shop where they sell medcine for chickens or google it. 2 Also to separate them and desinfect the place ,because before you know it,they can be very weak and you can loose many of them.If it is really a disease you may have a big problem ,when the other healty chicks will pick at the pooh from the but of the sick?? chicks.3 You can also google to find out how a chick pooh supose to be( the pooh don't supose to be like that,when the chick pooh it must be fall on the ground .It can be stress as you said but when a chick begin to loose moisture they can die quickly .)4 Look for information about the grain or seeds(i don't know how to call it)what they give to parakeets,the small yellow colour round seeds(parakeetsfood).You put it in the food of your chicks,mix it thogether.This makes the pooh is not to soft.This was advice to me when i had chicks as yours(to soft pooh) and the problem was solved.Believe me it works very good.

Bro do you eat your own farm chicken sometimes? I am asking this because I do have layer chickens in my backyard, they're fully grown, I planning to sell roosters and keep some for meat for my family but I am not able to kill or eat them since I nurtured them from the beginning (ethical reason) 😭

It may be méconium for chickens. Our birds did not have anything in their butts and we had them 6 weeks now and only experienced about 25 deaths. I guess it’s all different.
