How to Manage Security Threats in Your Network Using the Meraki Dashboard

As an IT administrator, it's important to take action against security threats in your network. In this video, we'll provide you with a simple example of how you can do this using the Meraki dashboard.
The Meraki dashboard provides a clear view of different security events that are occurring over time, including most affected clients, sources of threats, prevalent threats, and affected operating systems. In this example, we noticed that a particular client has experienced 204 security events over the last few weeks, so we decided to ban it from the network and investigate further.
To do this, we clicked on the client and went to view its details. From there, we were able to apply a device policy and block the device from the network. We also added a splash message page, urging the client to come and see IT.
