6:14 It didn't hit me until he said " When you have cash, it attracts more cash." that I noticed the exact same thing. For months I've had a blank envelope sitting on my desk loaded with a few hundred dollars worth of $5 bills. I have no idea why I started doing it, but whenever it is on my desk the pile grows. When I put it in my desk drawer it stayed there for a few weeks and I didn't add anything to it because I forgot about it. Now that it is on my desk again I keep finding myself adding to it. Cash does accumulate more cash.

I really enjoyed this perspective on the percentage breakdown of money management. The learning bucket is one aspect I personally had completely overlooked but will be sure to include in future budgeting plans. The tiered percentages based on income level was also a great insight. I have a question about investment, my husband and I both have life insurances (with investment/mutual funds as a "rider") - does that count as an investment? Another question, do you have any suggestions on how we can or where we can invest more? I am a musician of 15 years with a production background, but I scarified my finances for a relationship that ended up failing. I am now pursuing my dreams and paying myself first through the 60/20/10/10 budgeting model, and the difference is amazing. Pursuit happiness and the law of attraction. It's amazing how the missing pieces fill themselves in. This advice is golden. I studied economics during my college years, and Dan's videos are very clear if you follow the series.
