Dropbox for the Kong Config PB.zip
www.dropbox.co...
(I have also add Kong Config R12 PB.cmb to that folder)
Copy the Remote directory from this zip file to:-
Windows: C:\ProgramData\Propellerhead Software\
OSX: //Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/
Note: on some Windows machines if you don't have
C:\ProgramData\Propellerhead Software\Remote
then check
%appdata%\Propellerhead Software
and see if the remote directory is populated there.
Note %appdata%\Propellerhead Software also equals
c:\users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Propellerhead Software
Then restart Reason.
Create a Midi port called "Kong" in your midi loopback software.
If you are not sure about Midi loopback then please see my "Beginners guide to EMI and Midi LoopBack in Reason" guide
• Beginners guide to EMI...
Setup a Surface Controller, in Reason.
Edit then Preferences
Select the Control Surface tab.
Click the "Add Manually" button.
Under the Manufacturer select "PoohBear"
Model "PoohBear Kong"
Name "PoohBear PoohBear Kong" (default)
Midi Input (port) "Kong"
Add the combinator "Kong Config.cmb" to the project, add a kong and select a patch and wire up the backend.
Make sure Kong has the Midi focus (or you can right click the Kong and Lock "PoohBear PoohBear Kong" to the Kong), then click button one on the combinator and click it again to turn it off (you have to turn it on and off so the signal is sent to the Kong).

For Mac users.
Setting up Midi ports (loopback) of a Mac.
The IAC bus allows you to create any number of virtual MIDI buses. This driver is built-in to OS X (since OS X 10.4) and can be activated in the Audio/MIDI Setup Utility.
To begin, launch Audio/MIDI Setup and select "Show MIDI Window" from the "Window" menu.
Now double-click the IAC Driver icon and check the option "Device is online" in order to activate it.
Add the ports you need from within this window.
