My map needs to be 'flipped'. As it is it doesn't look like it is set for the 'home' for Roomba is in the right quadrant of the house. It has also not mapped one bedroom completely for some reason. Guess I will keep looking at all the videos to see if anyone else has this problem mapping. Thanks for your instructions.

If my i7 and s9 weren't still picking things up, I'd map them right to the trash. But knowing both of them, they'd never find it.

I’m setting up the I robot. How long it takes for the connection. For a while it said connecting.

It was awesome when came out but now looks silly. Setting up map is hard .. it should remember coordinates but it keeps going around and I can’t easily restrain it

If they are all at the end of a hall, you could create one room encompassing all of them. But if they’re spread out you need to define each one separately. But it’s better to give them unique names so you can select one for cleaning. You can create a favorite to clean multiple rooms with one click.

Thank you but I was hoping to get an answer to my problem. My iRobot mapped my master bedroom AND my master bathroom at some point. Everything was great but all of a sudden the master bathroom disappeared from the map!! Now it vacuums only my bedroom and does NOT go to my bathroom. How do I make it map my bathroom? Pleas help!!

If you still have the issue, you can do another making run. But what I do is pick it up and take it to the room and hit clean. You may have to do this a few times until it builds enough to add to the smart map. In the cleaning history, you will see the most up to date run and map. You can hit the 3 dots in the upper right and select "update my smart map."

When I do map runs it saves them as diff maps in progress. Does it eventually take all those run maps and combine them to make a main map? I don’t like all the separate attempts and different maps. How does it know when it’s complete ?
