God, you know what I’ve noticed? Even with the imperfections on the official mp5 mario and Luigi, that’s why they’re personally one of my favorites. Something about them look so charming compared to the new sanei one’s and you captured that charm beautifully, good job!!!

Towards the end of the tutorial, I mentioned if you go with hand embroidery, you won't have to deal with the improper patterns for sewing. But I mixed two things up. What I meant to say was if you go with hand embroidery, you might find it better than playing with a sewing machine, and by observing how I attached the fabric together, you'd avoid an improper pattern (i.e. forgetting to attach Mario's legs before you sew the whole plush together, then having to hastily attach them)

This is actually really good the only thing I would change is make the arms slightly bigger and the upper body smaller, maybe make the darts on the face smaller but that’s my thoughts this is really cool

Thank you! I said in the video that I made the arms longer in the template, and the upper and lower body were slightly shrunk to make it 7 inches in total length. I should have made the face darts smaller 😅.

Can you please respond to my question what type of fabric did you use like nylon fleece felt fleece what kind of fabric. Also is it possible to do all of this by hand because I don't have a sewing machine. And last question I am so confused on how you got the m on there how to you do that also can you use a regular printer for the m?

Hi there, Stryder. So for the most part, every color was fleece. You will have to save images of the official plush and do your best to find the colors that were used, or close enough to it. 🙂 You can absolutely do this by hand; you can even do the embroidery too. It will be a bit time consuming, and if you've sewn in the wrong way, please keep a seam ripper with you to redo it. I am so sorry i confused you or anyone with the M logo; it is tricky. First, see if your computer can print color and is an inkjet (uses ink), if so, then buy Iron-on Transfer Paper for Dark Fabrics. I realized after the tutorial I forgot you can't use a laser printer, and you won't be able to if that's the case. But if you have a bright red sharpie, you can cut out the m from his logo after you've printed the template, lay it over the transfer paper, and brush over the cut out paper so it appears on the transfer paper. You can also just trace the M with a pencil, and brush over it carefully with the sharpie. Let me know if this helps. If you're still confused or struggle with something, I will do my best to get back to you.

Hello! Someone commented earlier today letting me know that they were having trouble sewing the head to the body because of the new template. The video is now in the wrong order due to this update, so please read how to do this next part before making the plush: Before you attach the head to the body, you should sew on the arms, then sew up the upper body darts first, so everything else will run smoothly. I did not intend for the template update to be as big of an issue as it ended up being. I apologize for this. Because now what I updated in the Luigi template, the video for the Mario template is now out of order with how the upper body is sewn before the head is attached. The last thing I want is for someone to have to watch the Luigi video before they can watch the actual video on how to make this plush, but it would be impossible to re-edit the video.

Hey Dash. Confused on what you mean by printing options if you're just talking about the template. I have a laser printer myself, and I printed it out in portrait orientation. Just remember to hold on to page 3 for when you cut out the felt for the eyes!

After many attempts, with hot glueing and failing this project, I am finally going to stitch the entire thing except for the buttons because you have to glue them on, but this gonna be a fun project!. Yes I would! I have attempted him already, but IMO the template isn't ready. So I've found and ordered one from the set, and he's on his way. Once I have him, I'll redo the template again :)

@@thecatsablanca429 im currently using the new template and i was following the instructions in video and everything was kind of ok except the shoes and upper body. i may have not been able to see the shoe placement correctly so i just went along with the video and it caused the shoes to point sideways (i kinda like it) but the upper body template was the thing that really confused me, since the video said i should sew the hindhead next to the face on the upperbody, which is impossible on the new template version because the armholes are placed there. im currently sewing pretty ok and improvising.

@@comicbookguy48 Yep so if you're looking at the fabric flipped the right-way out, the front of the shoes will either come straight out, or sideways as you said. Keep in mind that the ends of the shoe are off-center, so if you are place the soles straight (vertical) up and down instead of putting the bottom of the sole where the shoe connects to itself, that should work well. So with the upper body, this is totally my fault. I decided to update it, which in turn confused a lot of people. Do you mean the upper body is open wider than the head with the armhole darts? If this is the case, then the video is out of order. You should sew the arms on first, close up the darts, then attach the head. I'm just realizing this is going to be unclear to people, and I need to make an update on the order again. But please let me know if you're still having issues. Glad to hear you're improvising, but I'm sorry I've made this frustrating for you.
