I was walking down the street the other day and this guy showed me his finger and shouted "anchor" at me. I felt a little upset and confused at the time, but now I realise he was giving me some great ukulele advice. Thank you shouty anchor guy!

Awesome lesson, Sammy! Finding those "anchors" (I usually call them pivot points, but same idea!) is such a boon to becoming a more efficient and effective player. 🤘

Thanks man! Pivot points is such an excellent name!

Great tropic! I'm a fan of the anchor finger. I also really dig the mini lesson format. Looking forward to the next one!

Thanks: valuable input! Especially how to anchor when there is no anchor ... The minimalist approach to chord changes 🙂

We have a lazy minimalist life over here 😅

@@4stringboy Thought so: 'cause sometimes you seem to pluck only one string, or chord only three strings - in spite of your name FOUR-string-boy. 😅

Thank you so much for this tip! I've only started learning the uke this summer but I'm going to reexamine all the chord changes I can (mostly) do so far :)
