This post is for anyone who comes here to learn about catching Blackberry Fish: They nerfed Aero Village which I own and the Sky City Estate, and you can't catch blackberry fish there anymore. Please comment on the Wizard101 forum to convince the developers to reverse their decision. I'm trying to comment on anyone's KZbin page that discussed catching Blackberry Fish. Thanks!

It’s not that you can’t catch blackberry jellyfish anymore, it’s just super rare. I have caught 3 of them, but it took a long time just to catch one

@@hudsonbailey9475 - Thanks! I have also caught three or four of them (it took me a month). I still can't catch a few of the other ultra rare fish, so I've given up. I used to use most of my energy to catch blackberry fish, create mega snacks, create pets, and feed those pets to level them up. My gut tells me that W101 wanted people to purchase mega snack packs rather than farm for snacks so easily. I still grow plants but haven't played in a month. It's just spoiled the overall daily enjoyment for my style of gameplay. I will not let my membership renew and will go back to playing Xbox. Cheers!

Imagine not talking about how the fantastic voyage house instance gives you a 33% fishing luck potion every time you finish it making every rank 1 fish lure catch rank 3 fishes. For real tho, the instance is really easy and you can use the elixir for 1 hour, basically cutting in half the lure cost while maintaining the same chance of success

Pog that this is finally out. I have a video idea that I'm sure would be helpful to a lot of people, this idea being a reagent guide. During the budget walkthrough, you went over a lot of farming spots for reagents like ore, mist wood, and deep mushroom. I think having one video with all these places in it would be extremely helpful for the community, idk, just an idea I think would be cool. FEELSTRONGMAN

If you don't a winnow fish spell, you can use reveal fish school and scare away the undesired fish by walking into them. Obviously this only works in ponds that you can walk in, like Aero Village

Update for those watching this video: The fishing gear is not easy to get at all anymore. You don't get tickets for participating in tournaments now, you NEED to win (and they wiped everyone's tickets), and PvP is level 40 MINIMUM. So good luck.

For free to play, I think it is since you don't lose much and you gain conserve but you also get shadow wands which can be more useful.

Sorry for the late reply. I believe they brought it back in the arena for blue arena tickets. You must be in one of the PvP brackets to be able to queue for matches to earn blue tickets from what I know.

You can still fish, but it's annoying without the fishing luck that the gear gives because you will fail a lot of catches.
