@@shwosty Yesss finally someone who knows where it's at! The M14 really just is the SCAR's bigger, more refined brother, and the added armor and utility the Engineer offers just makes it way more flexible

​@shwosty i highly suggests taking the time to level up the m110 and using either a heavy barrel or long barrel. Its the only dmr that can 2x body shot and kill at most ranges even if its firerate is only slightly faster than the scar dmr. Super nutty

Something ive gotten quite fond of is using the one thing nobody else uses: The binoculars. You can observe people from afar without a glint and you can run high power optics because all you have to do is mark or remember the people you spot with the binoculars to know where they are. No unnecessary scoping for big stealthy long range games is the best.

@@endowbi2423 You can also adjust the mid- and long range scopes with left alt and scrolling the mousewheel to hit shots more reliably over specific ranges. This might help you with the long range shots overall.

Hello, Recon main here (Xille). Quick tips from me: 1. If you play nighttime map focus on the low sound spread and low muzzle flash (thermal optic is priority). 2. If you going to camp CREATE SQUAD AND LOCK IT WITH THE NON SNIPER GUY (because I get killed so many times because guys spawn on me and start sniping with "zoom scope x8,16..). 3. Don't use binoculars (it's useless). 4. If you want a lot of kill with claymore try to get behind the enemy line and place them TO FACE TOWRD HIGH GROUND because "black wires" will no-clip through the earth and it will be much harder to detect, than placing them on higher ground and claymore facing toward low-ground.

sniper only player here, don't have the greatest aim so I've had to come up with cheeky strats to out snipe people. the decoy is insane. use it to set up a false sniper nest (also baiting some teammates in there with how good it should be), while you set up about 45° on either side on higher ground with no cover built. this way you have cover fire/a realistic decoy and get to engage from a way better angle. leaning is great for long distance duels. spam it before and after your shot to make your head hitbox more unpredictable. go to the second floor of tall buildings, never the roof unless necessary. shoot from deep in the room, using c4 or a hammer to create sightlines. if forced to use a high zoom scope (levelling), either swap to ironsights or utilize 100% accurate no scopes to line up shots and hit them from a distance to negate glint and bait shots. the mind games of glint get real fun when certain snipers are conditioned to shoot them instantly/focus on them.

Not sniping from the roof is a good one. If I can still get a line of sight I will usually stay a floor or two below the roof so my silhouette isn't showing against the sky. I'll also move back as much as possible so my muzzle flash won't give me away as easily. You can set up a barricade if you want to go prone and give yourself a platform to rest on or hide behind.
