Wow, this was a very clear and comprehensive couple of matting options. I have seen some other videos that use similar methods but you explain yours much more clearly and concisely.

Just curious if you're using the PVA glue, why is the tape in the roller needed?

Great steps.....products. Uh..... Me...and at least 500 other people would place the print "just off". When we finally flipped it over it would be a little bit crooked. I had to chuckle when you even glued it without checking your work.

I’ve seen a lot of KZbin videos on matting prints and read books on the subject, and I’ve never seen glue used before. Seems like it is redundant with the ATG tape.

Thanks for sharing; great tutorial! What’s the recommended substrate and process for floating a print within a mat?

Thanks for watching! You can float a print onto 100% Cotton Museum Mat Board using the ATG Gold Transfer Tape or a product like Beva - www.talasonline.com/Beva-371-Film

Hi Michael very good and valuable info thank you. Can you direct me on your website or the place where I can order the material you use for putting together the mat please. I can not find it on your website. I am referring to the glue tape and the other type of glue you use. Thank you Sr

Clean hands, you're not totally fine. There is oil in those hands. You should always use white cotton gloves
