Hi, I have a quick question! I did the multi staff mission, have one and love it. When I use my mining beam it seems to give me like extra materials when I mine. Like 250x carbon per plant! Is this a perk I have from constructing it? Or can I upgrade it even more?

I got the staff, I have 3 above the average uprade modules but I'm like 40k short of the dmg value shown. I have like 30 s-class neutron cannon upgrades but none of them give me the values you have shown. I wonder what difficulty do you play at. I can't see the glyphs for the station to buy the S Class upgrades for the Neutron Cannon. The youtube play/pause buttons is in the way when paused, and if I let it play it goes by too fast 🤯

In my opinion if they really want to base the new Expedition as ‘Starship Trooper’ inspired then expect hordes of enemy, that means Neutron Cannon is not the best for the job since it has low fire rate. Sure you can 1-tap almost anything but you’ll be surrounded in no time. That big damage number is misleading unless you’re very good at aiming 😅

I play in VR, the neutron cannon is good, the blaster though can be hard to aim, especially with the staff, as in VR it's held like a shoulder fired rocket launcher

I hate that they removed upgrade dupping. Save scumming is such a tedious waste of time. Creative mode doesn't help here, and there are no current mods to improve the situation. Either give us the ability to craft discovered upgrades in creative mode, so those that enjoy farming them normally will not be affected, or give us dupping back. After 600 hrs (360 on PS without dupping) and multiple saves, dupping is the main reason I still keep coming back to chase new things. With my schedule, grind = wasted time.

I realized my staff has a backwards upside down p. A different layout from yours. So I swapped the p compressors placement and it went up from 135k to 170k. Going to test it out now and see what damage is possible since damage potential is such a misleading value.

@@hero2u1 that damage is overkill, though. You can already one shot things with less than 1/4 of that damage. We need raids with bosses that have way higher HP pools and maybe some additional gameplay elements that would help defeat it faster. Like destroying specific points of its body to lower its Shields or something parallel to that.

try reloading game, make sure all slots are adjacent and correctly placed in supercharged, and scrutinize the modules you bought and what hero2u did. otherwise it’s probably just a bug, or your multi tool is game is broken.
