In my opinion if they really want to base the new Expedition as ‘Starship Trooper’ inspired then expect hordes of enemy, that means Neutron Cannon is not the best for the job since it has low fire rate. Sure you can 1-tap almost anything but you’ll be surrounded in no time. That big damage number is misleading unless you’re very good at aiming 😅

I play in VR, the neutron cannon is good, the blaster though can be hard to aim, especially with the staff, as in VR it's held like a shoulder fired rocket launcher

@@hero2u1 that damage is overkill, though. You can already one shot things with less than 1/4 of that damage. We need raids with bosses that have way higher HP pools and maybe some additional gameplay elements that would help defeat it faster. Like destroying specific points of its body to lower its Shields or something parallel to that.

I hate that they removed upgrade dupping. Save scumming is such a tedious waste of time. Creative mode doesn't help here, and there are no current mods to improve the situation. Either give us the ability to craft discovered upgrades in creative mode, so those that enjoy farming them normally will not be affected, or give us dupping back. After 600 hrs (360 on PS without dupping) and multiple saves, dupping is the main reason I still keep coming back to chase new things. With my schedule, grind = wasted time.

I got the staff, I have 3 above the average uprade modules but I'm like 40k short of the dmg value shown. I have like 30 s-class neutron cannon upgrades but none of them give me the values you have shown. I wonder what difficulty do you play at. BTW I like strong accents but this is too much for me because sometimes I fail to rerognize the words you say. Anyway, keep posting.

Wandering where is trick. have same staff with 3x perfect nc upgrades, but getting only 194665. Overcharged upgrades all have charge speed -60% , ion sphere speed +17% and damage +18% , personally never saw better. Or am i missing something and you possesing even stronger upgrades?

I suspect all stats are a lie after a certain number. If it takes two to three shots to kill sentinels with this one there is no difference to my 30k or 50k damage tool. The same goes for ship damage or speed - it caps out at some max despite the stats display
