First, belated KUDOS on your 100K subs, awesome! I also want to 2nd comments made below...you have provided so many of us with credible, science-based information, unselfishly sharing of your experiences, knowledge and practical expertise for growing this great plant. I am an OG from the sixties, but only the last couple of years, thanks primarily to your YT videos, have I finally been able to begin providing my self with the medicine that my 72 yr old body benefits from. Please know I appreciate your continuing presence here, on FTS, etc., and contributions on behalf of our mutual community. Wishing you a grand year, and good health for you and your family. All best in 2023!

LST is when you train the main branches/tie the main branches down, sending all the auxins to the lower branches, which eventually become the middle of the plant it pretty much cuts off the growth to the main branch sending energy to the lower canopy

I use tomato cages” varietal depending “ and trellis nets just laid over the plants to spread apart and give me some to grab so I can shake my plants in the morning cause my plants are soaked with dew every morning so I grab the netting and shake real good and it after then shaking each branch. After that outside I’ll uss the cage ti support and tie down the 2 mains to keep em em separate for max airow

I mainly grow outdoors. We’ll I go big outdoors but I keep common practice for inside as outdoors. Indoor I m the environment so if I mess up I messed up not. The week of rain right before harvest to bring on boytritus. With that said once u grow outdoors especially in New Jersey New York area we get wet humid summers so it’s no super easy but I love it. I got my IPM set and I only run 🧬 that I’ve ran before with little to zero issues with humidity plus I’ve made a cross that just loves the humidity, but must always stay vigilant. I’m out there from sun up and after work I’m there till dark. U can’t ignore the girls. Of u ain’t looking over the plants daily u will have problems

So what about I learned tht if the stems are purple u leave the lights off for 24hrs and wen u put it bak to 16/8 the purple starts going away. Seeing green lines immediately by the time u turn on lights. I jst did it in veg a month ago and I've also dne it and then switched to flower cycle and they jst stayed green. I didn't add anything or tke anything in the feed with the w4hrs of darkness. No it will not start flowering.
@blitzkrieg4877 Жыл бұрын
Purple or red is like a suntan. If you look you will know it's a suntan from the lights when the top of the stem is colored but the bottom is still green.

Have you ever tried beneficial nematodes from The Good Guys? Works very well. So does mosquito bits. Hydrogen peroxide will kill all you microbiology. You'll have to rebuild all that soil structure before a plant will thrive. And dish soap!? Holy hell stay away from dish soap. I've heard that purple stems can be a cal/mag deficiency. Could you help me clarify? Awesome content!! #lowstresstraining
@umbrellatrellis9557 Жыл бұрын
Sorry for late response you are half right why do I say that? Because cal mag means calcium and magnesium together and the issue with that is that calcium brings nitrogen and if you are trying to correct a problem that is a magnesium issue, but you are approaching it with Cal mag. What happens is you are getting the right amount of magnesium while simultaneously intoxicating the plant of nitrogen find use epson salt or magnesium by itself with all that said first step is to back off light intensity keep your grow room warm and humid temp 78/85 humidity 58/65 hope this helps

I prefer to have my lights slightly lower but onm an angle like not overtop of the plant the lower portions flower well plant spreads it's arms out 3/4 ft high topped .best plants I've done . It's all about ballancing light position in relation to techniques your using. 1meter distance but not high / like 45/50 degrees. If scrogging directly overhead with combinations of aproaches. Hps metal halide both cases. Plenty of air going inn as going out ish.
@eclipse-rx8me Жыл бұрын
If a plant shows the purple pheno in higher environment temps then that confirms its not a nutrient deficiency its a true genetic trait and you need to keep it around

Are there other courses like it? Good sources of information on which breeders focus on what and which are the best quality...stuff like that. There is so much to learn out there and while stuff like growweedeasy is great, it is limited. I have personally gotten alot of good information through the discord of a breeder for example

This is a big debate between growers meaning ppl believe purple stems can be a make up of genetics however I disagree purple stems are unacceptable in the video I talked about different reasons for having purple stems in some situations it’s not bad if your plant is stunted/growing really slow and not looking happy then you know it’s a deficiency
