my wrist is just over 7 and 1/8th, for a 6mm Cuban what do you recommend? and any word on the 7mm's? Thank you for your reply if you see this!!
@LirysJewelry2 жыл бұрын
hey hey. You are probably right in between that 8" and 7.5" range. 7.5" would probably fit you, but not leave too much play. 8.0" will likely be a little looser of a fit. I would start with 8.0". If you get it from us just let us know you may need to have a few links taken out, we would just refund you the difference. I would imagine most stores would do that same if you just let them know you are not 100% certain on the size.

I have bit over 7 inch wrist. For 14mm Cubanlink what length you recommend ?
@LirysJewelry Жыл бұрын
probably around 8.0", but you should take some rope or string and put that around your wrist to a length you would like the bracelet to be. Then measure that piece of rope, that is the length you should order.

I want to order either a 14mm or 15mm bracelet. My wrist is exactly 7” and I like the fit you got going in the video. Is a 7.5” 14mm gonna fit the same? If I go 15mm would 7.5” still work or too tight so maybe 7 3/4”? Hope you see this soon

For the record, I like a semi snug fit. Don’t want it to hang too much, at 7.5 it feels perfect (but not considering the girth of the bracelet)

I have a 4mm Miami Cuban lobster clasp and I’m a 7” wrist, and I had links taken out to measure 7 3/8 shy of 7 1/2 and it fits just right . Slight movement , gets tight on the wrist bone and doesn’t touch my palm. Made a pinky ring with links I had taken out he filled in the rest with solid 14k 🔥

There you go! Always a little bit of a guessing game until you have the piece. Benefit of going a little longer is it's much easier to just remove a few links

hmm thats a lot of personal preference. Danny and myself both wear ours so they do not fall below the wrist joint. There are people like like it too fall half in or so down their hand. Its a little hard to explain on video. Best bet is to try some stuff on at a local store or pawn shop

Probably 7.5", but its hard to tell just from height weight. Best is to put a piece of rope/string around your wrist to the length you want your bracelet. Then measure that.

what size would you recommend for a 10mm miami curb link in a slide lock or box lock, for a guy with a 7inch wrist?
@LirysJewelry3 жыл бұрын
Most likely 7.5" would be fine. The style of box does not matter as we would take into account how the lock mechanism works and the length needed. However just a heads up a slide lock or box clasp do not look good on a curb link bracelet. I am not sure if you meant to say cuban link, but I do know clients in the past have wanted those locks on a true curb link and it does not look very good.

Is there anyway to put a small weld in the lock after it’s on? So it won’t come off. I know to many people that have lost their bracelets (not from you) in general and i don’t want that to happen
@LirysJewelry3 жыл бұрын
Possible, absolutely. Recommended? Not for a bracelet. You would have to cut the weld to get it off which could be dangerous on its own, but also in an emergency situation you would want to be able to take it off quickly. we have client do it with chains though, as long as it is long enough to slip over their head.

Hello friend, I have a question, I hope you can answer me, thank you. This is my story: I bought a solid 10k gold bracelet that I love by the way, I took it to several jewelers to test it and they all tell me that it is 10k gold, it's practically new, it's been 4 months since I got it and About a week ago I bought a special red clay for polishing gold and delicately polished it, but since I am not an expert I only polished two links to test and here comes my question: if the jewelers tell me that it is 10k gold and it is solid because in those two Links that I have polished have changed to a lighter color as if it were pink? The difference is almost imperceptible but I can distinguish the difference compared to the other links. Could I recover the previous yellow? Is my bracelet solid gold? Or worse is it not solid gold? Greetings
@LirysJewelry Жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for the question! if a few different stores all told you its 10kt, I would be fairly confident in that. If there is a spot that is a little rosey it is likely the actually gold has a rose undertone. Most likely your chain has a gold plating. BUT that does not mean it is fake. The vast majority of gold from big name retailers and department stores has a gold plating. Natural gold does not always come out with the perfect color piece to piece and stores opt to have all their pieces gold plated at once to give everything a univerisal look. If you bring it to a jeweler and they polish the piece entirely it will remove any gold plating it has, and then you would be able to have it replated if you prefered the deeper yellow (the natural color is most likely a little lighter than it current is, IF it is plated). Two take aways, most likely is real gold (get it x ray tested to be sure), and most likey is plated which is NOT a bad thing as long as it is real gold. I hope that helps!
@francomartin5388 Жыл бұрын
@@LirysJewelry Thank you very much, I will take it into account! another question how much would it cost to get it re-plated here in the states?

My wrist size is 7.25 inches i just ordered a 8.25 inch 10mm bracelet. Ive had bracelets that are 7.75 inches and they felt way too tight. So i think going up only half an inch from your wrist size is way too snug of a fit but thats just my opinion. So yeah i would go a whole inch extra

Sort of, I think it just shows you can't measure your wrist, you really gotta try it on. Depending on the measuring tape things change (not the actual measurement but the material of the tape and how it bends etc). Also where on your wrist you measure, I may have measured a little higher or lower that last time which gave a different result. I hope that makes some sort of sense
