What also is important is what is the grade, for example 8.8 or 10.9? A fact that may not be known by a lot of people is that many hydraulic fittings have the exact same thread whether it be metric or imperial and others. Additionally one should know whether or not it is a 55° thread or 60° thread. There's lots to know.

Yes, 1.25 is the standard pitch. We have run into some hardware sizes on vehicles that don't follow the standard which is why we like to show the entire process.
