These sensors take about 3 minutes to “warm up” and can be influenced by changes in temperature and humidity. MH-Z19C is improved version and Z19D is latest iteration.

Hi, I would give the Software Method a try: upload Calibration.ino: 1) Run this sketch for 20min outside during night, 2) important!: disconnect MHZ19 from device after sketch ends (20+ minutes) 3) upload new code to avoid recalibration.

not sure if its just your comment but make sure that there is a dot: SoftwareSerial.h
