I have the Winmau oche measure and it's wrong by over 10 mm as I have measured it alongside a steel measuring tape. The first cm starts about 12 mm away from the hole you put your dart point in .

Always use the diagonal marking as it is a common mistake to mark the 2.37m distance from the wall and not a point that equates to a mark on the floor level with the the face of the board. if this is measured incorrectly, oche distance is too short. (even on diagram in video this is not clear).

Is it 237cm from the board to the oche line? So it would be like 245cm from the wall to the oche line

The measurements only work if the floor is level, if the floor at the throwing mark is half inch higher or lower than the board then the height of the board and distance throwing will be wrong....

Im 5,10 but when im measuring 173cm the bull is way above my head to the point where i need to extend my arm WAYY to much to reach treble 20, anyone know a fix

The measuring tape I have says 5 feet 8 inches comes at 171.5 cm not 173cm ?? Anyone else have the issue

I need to ask. Should I push in the dartpoint all the way in the dartboard thru the measurer or not? (the zoomed in example in this video isnt, that is why i'm asking)

Technically, the bull is 5' 8" from the floor where you stand. If the floor isn't level, I don't know if the diagonal is correct. I always thought it was 9' 7 3/8" on the diagonal. a^2 + b^2 = c^2. 5' 8"h 7" 9.25" l = 115.4" diagonal. You can check the height from the oche with a water level. Kind of a pain in the ass, but if there's concern due to an uneven floor, that is the way to do it.

Hi, I have a question. You said 293cm but quite a few sites and the instruction leaflet on my dart board set are saying 237cm. Sorry I'm new to darts and just setting everything up so not sure. Can you please confirm?

237 is the distance from the floor, 293 cm is from bulls eye the diagonal to the floor, you can see it in the picture that is blend in on the end :)
