I use Person-Object-Action. Person=unique variation, object=friendly move, action=enemy move. I only track the destination square and rely on chess knowledge to choose which piece to move there. The objects have unique scenery effects. If my move is d5 that is a blizzard and if there are 4 enemy responses that will be 4 different people in that blizzard performing different actions.
