This one video proved to be the pivotal point for my PMP preparation. Earlier when I had tried to study for the PMP I got stuck here, memorizing the process groups and the knowledge areas and left it after a while. But this time I was lucky to have found this video and it lighted the spark. In a matter of days I was well versed with the process groups, the knowledge areas and their respective processess. Moreover it built my confidence and kept me motivated till the end. Thanks a tonne for sharing this. Cleared my PMP a few days back.

Exactly. It’s easier to understand 1) You must initiate the beginning phases of the project. Gathering everything that you will need. Define the project objective. 2) You must then plan how you will accomplish the projective objective. What’s the work breakdown structure? Action Plan? 3) You must then execute those plans to accomplish the project objective. 4) You must put in place measures to monitor the plan being executed and/or possibly control aspects of the plan being executed so it remains on target with the project objective. 5) Finally, the project by definition must come to an end. Therefore once the project objective is completed, the project must be closed, archived, reported, handed off etc. It’s much more important to understand the above process then to memorize some erroneous acronym.
