How to metal detect in the rocky clay lake

This is a demonstration video on how to hunt in the rocky and clay soil in the bottom of some lakes. This is hard work and you dig a lot of trash. This is not a normal video filled with awesome finds but a how to video.

Gloves saved me from most of the hooks, but I probably pulled 2-300 hooks out of the lake this summer

You need a sand scoop.

I have one but it is useless here. Right under the silt is a clay and rock layer that a scoop won't dig in to.
