Impressive arc between the work and the table at 2:30! Looks like a fun project and a neat fire pit.

Would tig welding the whole thing be a crazy idea? Figure it would be good practice. Nice video 🤙

I thought the same thing about my battleship build and still think it was a crazy idea... but great practice. 😉

you could for sure but it would take twice as long
@ZRace673 күн бұрын
You could, it would just take forever and you'd have to clean the mill scale off the material if you want it to look nice.

KZbin channles push tig far to much (especially on car channels) where mig would be just as good and quicker.

You scared the heck out of me tacking that filthy steel with the tig and not pickling it or removing scale and then you redeem better judgement and pull out a mig and go to town. Lol😂.

Cool stuff but a bit pricey for DIY kits in my opinion. I was expecting like 150-200. 🤷🏼♂️👍🏻🇺🇲

Is the fit up good enough for autogenous TIG?
@kathysarmcandy19922 күн бұрын
I'd pulse a few. Maybe try some silicon bronze, too. Easy enough to get around project to try several processes.
