I know this video is old; but hopefully I can get an answer to my question. I have a Kia Ev6 and I can mirror using AAmirror; but the touchscreen in the car doesn't control the phone. I am unable to select items using the car's screen but must make selections from the phone. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

How to keep ANdroid Auto from automatic update to the new version. I Deleted my ANdroid Auto 4..xxxx and downloaded Android Auto 2.9. But after I installed it automatically updates to the newest version of Android Auto. Therefore I cant use youtube video on my car stereo (sony-ax200) anymore. Hello, you have to activate the developer mode, go to android auto settings and click several x on the version of the application until the developer mode is activated.
