I like the mix/ match look, but I inherited suites. So I broke up sets. The mirror for the dresser is on the wall in my living room. I have a huge gold framed mirror over the dresser, instead. The chairs to the 3 piece patio set is in my living room, while the loveseat for that set is on the screen porch. Ir breaks up sets, but gives me some continuity from room to room.

While I am fond of the mix n match trend, what I do not like is the furniture sitting directly on the floor no legs! I refuse to do this regardless of what the trend is! Couch sitting on the floor with no legs look sloppy and trifling! I rue the person who came up with this ghastly idea. Legs look so much better!
