Thank you for your clear demo on preparing carbon smooth slurry. It was helpful to learn🙏👍

Thanks for very clear and step by step process, which van be clearly understood. Can you please clear what you mean by hard carbon ? ( if is activated carbon or any thing else ).

Hard carbon it is a carbon that can’t be graphitised at high temperatures. For example over 600°C hard carbon keeps being non-graphitised

Very nice demo of the prep process for these flexible, high performance electrodes. Thanks so much for your time and effort to share this. Is there any supplemental information on the curing / drying of the electrodes or is it as simple as evaporating the water content at a relatively moderate evaporation rate so as to not induce embrittlement or other non-optimal properties ?

Thank you, and I agree with the evidence that drying more slowly will prevent issues like SBR separation. I usually leave wet films in a dry room overnight, though most other groups appear to use a conventional oven or hot plate to speed the process. Importantly, to fully bake off as much trace water as possible before using in cells, I leave the films overnight at 120 degrees within a glovebox-fitted vacuumed antechamber before cutting them for application in cells.

What kind of conductive materials do you use to add in this slurry? Thank you so much

How about the mixing of SBR and SCMC together? Is this works well or affects the electrode density/thickness?

i have tried everything , but nothing seems works perfectly .. Whenever i get strength , it compromise with conductivity , and vice versa.

Hello madam, very informative video. What ratio you used for HC:SP:CMC. Thankyou.
@SPECIFICIKC Жыл бұрын
My standard formula is 94% hard carbon, 2% CMC, 2% conductive additive (C65) and 2% SBR by dry weight.

Hello Mam, what is the % solution of SBR you prepared? From which, you used 0.48%. Please suggest the ratios of slurry if I have 100 mg of HC. I usually use 80 mg HC, 500 mg CMC (2%) and 10 mg SP (8:1:1). But the stability is not very good in this ratio along with ICE.
