Nice to see use of the stock logic plug ins! Bass sounds huge.

Interesting mix approach, I can hear our uni tutors in my head watching this! Those silos sound amazing!

Hey Connor, you are very inspiring, thank you for your work here! I would love to see you mixing a whole song to see your workflow and plugins you are using. Also the orchestration would be very interesting. Is this planned?

Connor, really basic question but can you do a video on loading up GGD from scratch and talking through how you make a beat? Do you have a midi keyboard or just use your laptop keyboard?

hey! this is something i want to try and cover in my next JTC Masterclass. think... mixing, producing, and writing, as a guitarist in 2023. thats the whole goal with this new masterclass im making at the moment. and how to do it with minimal plugins (literally just GGD and ONE archetype plugin). the rest of the mix is logic stock. keep an eye out for that!

Wow! When is this coming out? Starting a KZbin channel with just shredding over backtracks to start. Still recording some and getting a soft box, but the next step would be full producing at home, your class would be perfect. Thanks again for your content

@@TommyGunzzz I start work on it sooooon and already have a full song written specifically and ready to be dissected :D its a big big project with a lot fo moving parts but I hope to have it out this year.

Have you posted anything on the actual programming of the drums?

I have a modern songwriting course with JTC that covers drum programming! Check it out on the JTC site :)

Are you just using Arturia minilab for all midi writing ?

is working with in-ear that much different from working with studio headphones ? im asking because i have a problem holding over ears headphones and that would help me .
@ConnorKaminski Жыл бұрын
working with headphones is arguably a LOT easier. a good pair doesnt cost too much in the grand scheme of things and you know you're getting a good representation of 1. not only EQ and bass/sub bass response but 2. good detail for space (reverbs, delays). Setting up a room for monitoring with big speakers can be a headache. its not so much about the speakers, its about treating the room and dealing with inherent resonances, peaks, and cuts, that your room WILL have. good luck!

and ive just realised why you've asked this. because im wearing my IEMs. ah, so, im ONLY wearing those to stop any feedback coming through the vox mic in front of me. i usually do all my work through speakers but get a good pair of on ear headphones and you'll be flying!
@FlameDeathcrash Жыл бұрын
@@ConnorKaminski lovely answer. Can you name the IEM pls ?
@ConnorKaminski Жыл бұрын
@@FlameDeathcrash They are custom mould IEMs from Cosmic Ears :) It's the 4 driver model! I bought them for playing live but needed to grab a pair of headphones to record this video haha
