philip wright I usually Low cut with the EQ on my mic preamp instead of using a plugin. I also reduce the volume of breaths by cutting them into their own piece and turning down the volume of every S in the recording so I don’t have to use a plugin. Sometimes I add a DeEsser too even tho I cut them down manually

BabyDrizzle Vibes First of all, kudos for that juventus jersey on your DP. They the best. And, personally i dont think your mix quality comes from plugins. Sure, waves and izotope and fap filter have pretty nice hardware emulation plugins to give you that analog sound and they are really great when it comes to functionality. But you mean if i do a low cut at 100 hz with my stock plugin (i use reaper) its gonna sound different than if i do it with “fabfilter pro Q” ?

in autotune,it depends, for example if the song is on C minor, you will need to tune the autotune to C minor so the auto corrections goes with the scale

Gabriel Lopez he is using a technique called parallel processing, where you send the signal to an aux and process that aux really heavily. Then, you can blend that heavily processed signal with the original.

So when you have an ad lib channel already panned 40 lefr and then its bussed to a doubler with four voices hard panned, where does the signal actually end up? It was already panned and now its being hard panned again so wouldn't one side be offset and end up somewhere near the center? Are the sends pre pan?

MR.MORPHEUS initial eq before compression is the best way to go in my opinion. You want to get the problem frequencies out of there first otherwise the compressor will bring them out more.

for this, space matters, not speed. you wont get as much space with an SSD so I'd say more storage

check your Ram Memory Pro tools unlike any other daw uses more Ram so if you are running 8 GB Ram u have to clean up alot of storage and maybe even doing that wont help but if ur computer accepts RAM upgrades upgrade it to 16 cause thats the best for pro tools even though with alot of plugins on alot of tracks it will keep showing u errors
