Fantastic stuff again! I have a few questions but they are somewhat detail-oriented, so I will post them on the Patreon channel. Many thanks again.

Great!! nice job.. But in my opinion snare hardly clashes with the vocal because of the nature of their sound.. Snare is transitory in nature..while the vocals is more of sustain so they can accommodate each other...the struggle for me is to balance them with all the other instruments...❤cheers great video

Thanks! That's really important 👍 can you tell about kicks hi end region, how you separate it from snare? Do you emphasize it below snares hi end? If below 5k than it occupies vocals definition region. How you solve this?

Great question, it really depends on the specific snare and kick and the FQ of their natural transient. I will address this in next week's Q&A on Patreon. There's a lot of great Q&A content there for only $5 a month, so please consider supporting the channel on Patreon. In short I find it's best to prioritize the vocal clarity range of high mids, usually around 2k, and adjust the snare and kick transient accordingly, one above the vocal clarity and one below, depending on their natural transient FQ. It's too complicated to go into more detail here, but I hope that helps! Thanks!
