I like that you keep coming up with new ways to hash out stuff that you've probably already gone over before because 1. The meta is always changing and 2. You get better at skimming the fat with the info and getting to the nitty gritty. For the Algo!

Whatever format it takes either “Faction essentials” or “crash course” both are highly informative. As a late game player I still go back and check mods after watching these to see how I am doing. Doing so helped me find a hole in the armor of the squad that I could fix in Chew-P0’s Arrow with Crit Avoid. I appreciate the breakdown, knowledge, and rational behind the decisions. It helps max out each squad’s potential. I really enjoy this series no matter the video length.

Have always loved the "Faction Essentials" series for the deep dives, and this series is awesome too for the cliff notes version!! A couple thoughts/questions on CLS specifically: 1) I was running CLS (R7) with g11 Chewpio/C3PO for ages, very successfully countering almost every full relic GAS team I came across. Didn't have the two zetas you said that could be delayed. So just putting that out there, as proof that this team still slaps even without those zetas and with some undergeared members, as long as one follows your modding suggestions, which I have. Chewpio just juices the team up so much if your CLS is geared/reliced/modded well. For reference Han/Chewie were R4 for most of that time. Heck I even used g11 Old Ben in place of C3PO for ages and that works really well in lots of places (not against squads like GAS, but it's still pretty powerful). I just this week took Chewpio and C3PO to relics, since I'm working on JKL and I rolled a Chewpio DC9, so I'll finally put Chewpio's zeta on to maximize that while I have it. 2) On that note, would your modding recommendations change for Chewpio when using his DC9, or stay the same? 3) You mentioned that Chewpio would get 40-50% tenacity from CLS via Chewpio's unique, but wouldn't CLS get his +100% tenacity first, actually making it 80-90%? Assuming high tenacity CLS -- mine has ~112% base, so wouldn't it be 40-50% of 212%? 4) On the GAS counter, anecdotally I feel like I've found more success just going straight after GAS out the gate, letting Rex put out the tenacity up, so I can generate more TM that way. Maybe just a fluke but wanted to add this for comment/discussion. Thanks as always XP! Btw -- I'm up to K4 now!

Oof don't make the same mistake I made and sit on cls for a long time without knowing that he is absolutely necessary to excel at this game. Even with the rebels you get the beginning of the game he will do very nicely. The team on this video is what you'd ideally have and is worthwhile to farm. You'll be using this team everywhere in the game.

I find the essentials videos a bit more in depth than the crush crouse to really learn about a team. I do miss them and would be happy if you can do them more often (as meta changes, omnicrons and new characters introduced and so on). Whatever you do Xaereth - it is very valuable for us all that follow you; thanks or everything. Again, personally i prefer the essentials.

Something that i think could be helpful is just a quick mention on if the team is set in stone or if it will at least somewhat work without certain members. Nothing major just a line or two saying who is essential to the team.

GREAT series starter. I’m just at the point where I have the CLS team (minus 3PO, so R2…any modding advice there?) ready to compete. Thoughts on who to relic first, and how to take on a CLS team (who to target after we stun Chewie) could be great. Keep doing these! BH, Revans, All core teams and Starkiller teams (Dash especially) for modding, counters, etc would be very helpful. I’m going to make a reference sheet off this info until I have it memorized. Question in regards to modding. My offense receiver is currently Speed. with secondaries Tenacity, Offense%, Offense and Protection. Is that good enough or should I try and get one with Offense Primary instead?
