okay so i followed this for enter the gungeon step by step and the game wont start now. acts like it will via steam but then goes back to the "play" option and doesnt start up

Is it possible to use multiple profiles so I can have different mod loadouts for the game? I noticed the “browse profile folder” step focuses on only 1 profile & the other profiles may not work.

Whenever i try to launch it, it says that an unhandled error occurred ENOENT no such file or directory open How do you fix this?

You mean the mod manager? You could try going into the files properties and seeing if the box is checked for it to be executable, it should be but that is where I would check

Ok so r2mod manger is bot opening for me. As a matter of fact ALL my files are fucked ;( I was messing around and accidentally open a file on the wrong app and now all my apps are screwed and won’t open on desktop mode is there something to fix it or has it where it goes to default launcher?

So I assume you have the game downloaded on the sd card and not the internal drive? You’ll need to do exactly what the error says and go to the settings tab and change to directory to wherever you have the game downloaded

@Brand0n555 it's on the internal drive. I'm new at this so I'm not familiar how to find the game

@@zebrasquirrellameltedtree547 so on the setting page (same page where you clicked browse profile folder) you can click on Change Content Warning Directory then you navigate to the same place where you linked the 2 files earlier but just click on the content warning.exe and select that as the directory. That should resolve the issue

Hey there, Great Video tutorial btwl! Do you know if this works for Enter the Gungeon? Couple months back, I was trying to get enter Gungeon (mod the Gungeon) running with mods using r2modman through a different process but I gave up since I had no luck? If it does work? Is there a possibility you could do a tutorial for Enter the Gungeon (mod the Gungeon) (if you have enter the Gungeon)?

Unfortunately I do not have Enter the Gudgeon. However, this same process also worked for Lethal Company so it wouldn’t hurt to give it a shot! Let me know if it works!

@@Brand0n555 i followed the steps and it actually worked! Thank you for this tutorial. If it wasn't for your video, I wouldn't have figured it out! I did noticed that when the game boots to the menu or when I have to start a new level or go back to HQ, It often freezes and my steam deck has to automatically reboot or I have reboot it myself. Do you think it's because of the amount of mods that I have on (I had 45 mods until i reduced it to fix the problems). It doesn't freeze as much as it does now but have you experienced this with your steam deck freezing when booting up or while playing Content Warning or lethal company?

@@jesusmolina3824 I’ve only had crashing or freezing problems when I had a specific mod that wasn’t working. In lethal company I use over 60 mods with no issues so I’m unsure if it’s because of your amount of mods or a specific mod

@nullvoidance I actually got it to run, try to run the game with Proton instead of the native Linux version.

I have been trying to install mods on the steamdeck in desktop mode and the whole process has gone relatively smoothly right up until the end, I go to launch options and paste: “/home/deck/.config/r2modmanPlus-local/ETG/linux_wrapper.sh” %command% Which results in the game starting to load and then crashing instantly. Has anyone else had this problem?
