Great tips. When u distribute elements u can actually double click at the start position so that the elements get distributed automatically without swiping round the path

Wow thanks that is cool ! That is what I love , you never stop learning, even so I used ARCHICAD since version 3.4, there is always something I don't know !

Thank you for pointing out the "Inherit" option in the Solid Elements Dialogue! I can see how this can be very handy

thanks, yes I do use this quite often to get the correct materials for my models to render up.

hi there, i follow your way to make a same swimming pool, but i found out the bottom curve to outside other than inside, how to fix it? much appreciated

You can flip the construction line or mirror the profile you created.

You know you master ArchiCad when you have more than 5 Versions pinned on your windows tablist :)

I like it, but most pools have a deep end and a shallow end :)

yes that is true, little bit of extra modeling is needed :)

@@ASMTechbase I guess one way would be to do it with a morph, and use the follow path on a polyline that has the right heights. Pity Morphs have such a poor linear workflow. Morph needs to be updated with parametric modelling, similar to 3dsmax's loft tool or any other modeller out there that has been around for decades.

@@duncanh6045 it would be nice but I think that's what they have Grasshopper for now. I also think it is still first and foremost a CAD program which Architects and Builders use for their plans, Section, Elevations, details, BIM, etc. So you can't compare this to Max as Max can't do any of this and is a different kind of Software.
