if I'm modeling a flat slab and some places need beams for other proposes (planted column), How can I do that? I keep getting "slab and beam are overlapping"

Provide an expansion joint to separate the flat slab area from the normal slab.

@@CADmade-easy so I can’t just make a whole flat slab and insert the beams where I want? As I understand from your description I should place the beams first, then place the flat slab at the edge of the beam? In this case the beams will be at the level of the slab right? I use polyline to draw the floor shape because it’s irregular, I also get overlapping of the slab with columns when I do the model check. Does it affect the results?
