Thanks for the great tip. Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of a shop to fix things in where I can get space. I'm used to working in tiny laundry rooms and french door closets in apartments so I have to get really creative sometimes. On the newer style Whirlpool gearcases I usually have to pull it out from the wall far enough so I can stick my tool bag under the foot and work on it from underneath with little to no clearance. These older style machines you are showing the transmissions for in this video are a whole different animal. Without enough space sometimes you don't have the room to slide the cabinet off of the base. Thanks for the insights!

I can sympathize with your situation. There are just some jobs that are easier to do in a shop environment. I have told people before that the conditions of the job are below the level that I am willing to accept and that if they want me to work on their machine they will have to arrange for it to be brought to my shop. Thanks for watching!

Hello! I have a newish speed queen TC5003wn, and am fairly handy. I want to install a dual action agitator, and through my research apparently a common GE model fits on the speed queen hub. I figure if this works, and I ever need warranty work, it wouldn’t be too hard to swap the agitators back before service arrives. I feel this would be a fun way to give my washer a little more capacity, especially with things like sheets that end up getting caught around the top of the agitator with air bubbles. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

I don’t see any problem with it. Give it a try! Thanks for watching!

@@HarperandKnowles thanks! It should just slide on the shaft, without needing modification, correct? There isn’t much info about it online.
