I had a 2000 maxima, way back in 2005, it’s the same body as the one in this video, but it had a 3.0 v6 and it was 5speed, loved that car, it died in an electrical fire 🔥

Used to own an 01 maxima for 8 years until the 2nd motor gave out. Between my current 05 G35 Rev Up 6 speed and my Maxi. My maxi felt lighter while the G just feels heavy. A 2014 Maxima engine in these things would be a dream and man do I miss my Maxima and hope to get one again.

when I was running the DE, ditching the puny stock exhaust and restrictive exhaust manifold helped a lot. Nisformance reflash made a huge difference. now that I'm running a 7th gen engine with all the bolt ons I need a set of headers. I'm still running 4th gen Fed spec exhaust manifolds with Warpspeed Y.

Other than my favorite car/sedan since my childhood the Lexus GS, as a kid my favorite sedan growing up was a A32,A33 Nissan maxima. I don’t know why but bro these cars especially when I was a kid looking these up on google images, the east coast of nyc, mass and dmv had the maxima game on lock, it’s really almost no where else it’s just always been an iconic car to me and it will forever be one of my all time favorites. Also a Nissan Altima Se/se-r that’s also a great one from my childhood too!

Personally i perfer the 04 - 06 tl or tl type s w/ the 6speed, they come stock with 4piston brembo's up fromt and probably one of the best most reliable v6's on the market. Also they look a little better in my opinion, Not hating on the 5th gen maximas. Just my 2 cents. Now if you just dont want to compare because of the 1-3 year discrepency then sure the 6spd 5th gen maxima (specifically the 2002 - 2003 were/are awesome)

How to modify nissan maxima: Dont, just get a car with a good ol 3800 in it, swap the tranny for a 4t80, get it intercooled, then you can do wtf you want. them 3800s are bulletproof.

Or buy a real sleeper that you don’t have to put all this money into and worry about a shop doing it if you can’t do it yourself … sum like a Saturn Ion Redline supercharged 😅 280-300whp. Máximas are great tho I’ve got a 95 maxima 5 speed , had an 01 maxima, 02 maxima both manuals and daily a 13 maxima that I’ve had for 10years now

Only thing i need on my maxima is No Rust...some old grandpa smashed into my mint 02 SE Meridian 3 Yrs ago, i bought a 03 Titanium edition only to find everything underneath Titanic Rusted..still sanding rust after 3 Yrs.. Looking for a clean Max still 😂🤣😂

@miguelcruz2054 Wire brushes, wire wheels, grinders, saw zaw 😬 galore, ton of Por15 an Rustoleum rust converter..pretty much endless..still working on the removing the front radiator support, engine is literally hanging from back two bolts on cross member, fronts all rusted gone 😂😅... Never buy cars from snowy states 😭
