Once you add botanical gel into your hair, does it still allow the cream and oil you added in afterwards to penetrate and moisturise your hair strands? My concern with gel is once you’ve added it into your hair you can’t remoisturise your hair until next wash day
@naturalblackgirlie2 жыл бұрын
That is why I choose the one that’s not crunchy & you can reactivate the moisture anytime you want before wash day. Once you are using botanical gels with no butters added to it, it’s very penetrating & allow for more product layering. Like I mentioned in the video, layer according to thickness, I think it helps too
@paijhamilton36832 жыл бұрын
@@naturalblackgirlie thank you, I will look into that. Hopefully that’ll also help me to keep my hair moisturised for at least 1 week

Yeah, with that very light finger detangling she did she only pulled out a small amount of loose hair. I'm sure there's still a whole lot more loose shed hair to be released if she were to do a more thorough detangling job. Which is why she was still pulling out loose hair as she was twisting her hair. So, it's misleading to claim such small amount of hair shed after 15 days of protective styling.
@naturalblackgirlie2 жыл бұрын
This not one of the channels that will mislead fellow black women about the expectation of their hair. Ofcos, I lost that amount loosing my protective style & that was it. I didn’t say it was after detangling. I had to show it so people know it’s possible to loose little hair when taking down a protective style. However, I’m sure you did not watch till the end because you would have seen the part I also showed my hair loss bulb after detangling & moisturizing. Pls note that the amount of hair shredding differs from individuals so getting very little shred hair is very possible for some ❤️
@carlynesaintroc47092 жыл бұрын
@@naturalblackgirlieYes, it's obvious that individual hair shedding rate varies. However, not everyone does a thorough detangling job for whatever reason so the amount of hair purportedly shed is not always accurately presented.
