I wanted to come back to this video to thank you Erik once again! After many months I finally managed to accumulate an audience large enough to become a KZbin Partner! I STILL go back to the information in this video to help with copyright claims. As a music reaction channel myself, I come across these claims almost every video. I'm honestly surprised when I DON'T see one. Even though it doesn't work 100% of the time, I still see a few here and there being released and open to monetization! I, and many others, appreciate you taking the time to make this video as it has the possibility to change peoples lives one day! Keep it up!

How long do we have to get monetized and is there a deadline

@@eprimetimeshow322 I believe it's 1000 subs and 4000 watch hrs (public) within a 12 month period. I don't think it's a true deadline besides that.

@@CodyLamReacts thank you for the response bro because I'm 100 watch hours away from applying for monetization and I have a few copyright claims. All the content is created by me I just used some songs for background music. Crazy part is I get copyrighted from some instrumentals also.

And I've noticed that indeed with some videos, they're ok with monetization, and others are not, which is of course part of doing these videos. Some don't even reply within 30 days, in which case, the claim automatically is removed. Thx again, was a very helpful video!

Thank you for this Erik. I have been trying to make reaction videos for a while, but always ended up deleting them to avoid the copyrights. I have used the information in this video in my own disputes (also I should mention, I am currently not in the partner program at this time for anyone wondering) and I have had multiple videos get the copyrights revoked! This works! I can't say it will work 100% of the time, but so far so good!

I've watched this a couple of times now. I assume you need to have 1000 subs and 4000 hours watched before any monetization can occur but disputes can be filed before that. Thanks Erik

I don't understand why any music company give copyright claim on reaction videos 🤔🤔.....??? It's just a feedback of any song content in good & bad ways.. And feedback is more important in any business. THis is true. I've been using this method. Even appealing doesnt work when your dispute is rejected. 3 of my videos are needed to be deleted before they give a strike to my channel.

I've been researching about doing a reaction video about a tourist's treatment of local Nepali. He put a very damaging video up and the company moved since then and I wonder how much the video was actually the reason. The KZbinr called the people thieves and he has a following of over 2,000,000. I think I will only talk about the KZbinr and his video without using any of his footage, even his face. Or could I safely pull a picture off his video? Anyway, he came here as we were just opening up after the pandemic and everyone was hit so hard. So, just as it seemed like things were looking up 2 million people saw what a cheat you are. I feel so bad for these people and the salesman, as well. Nepal is a lovely place to visit. The people are mostly, genuinely friendly. I think Nepal should be on everyone's bucket list and we also need to support the local economy.

I tried this and it really works! I got a copyright strike and after doing this and explaining that I didn’t pretended this was my video. And after 1 day they released the copyright claim! You should put some text in the description and say that you do not claim this is your music and I didn’t even get a copyright claim! Good luck!

@@indiemusicvideoblog yes for a copyright claim a copyright ID is when u upload a video and get an email saying it has been blocked. If you go into youtube studio has to be on a desktop computer and then if u hover where it says blocked. Right click and click on dispute. Fill it in and just write saying you aren't claiming money and simply a reactor but what I tend to do is make sure ur promoting the original artist. I'm awaiting my Beyonce reaction so if it shows it will be able to view. Not sure how u get copyright claims which are copyright strikes but a claim ID is different. I'm still figuring all this out myself. Plz feel free to subscribe if ur into music
