Great review! I just received my Nomadic 3 yesterday and installed it myself using the exact same method! I'm really glad I went with Overland Vehicle Systems, build quality is excellent and equivalent to the higher priced tents plus you get a lot of extras with it. Installed it on my 2018 Tacoma.

Awesome review brother! Been trying to find information on this tent as well. Seems like the best deal out there for what you get. Could tell me how tall that ladder reaches? And are the seems taped? I’m gonna buy one today. Hope they hold up down the road. Congrats looks nice!

thank you. i haven't extended the ladder fully but according to the website it can go up to 8 feet.. the seems are taped and they have double stitching. Its not only a bang for your buck, but it actually looks and feels nice. You wont regret purchasing this sir! (this is not a paid advertisement)

Yes its relatively dark. But you can always open the windows or if you want privacy but still have light, you can open the window panel on the roof

So the bracket that comes with the rooftop tent is pretty universal. It can mount on flat or round bars
